Below are some recent projects we have been working on:

 Moduline/B-Line/Rollaveyor Engineering Project

A broad range of equipment was supplied in this demanding upgrade project. The scope of supply began with raw product receival in trolleys. The raw product was then removed from trays and presented to the dicer operator by the trolley lift. Once diced, the product was conveyed to an IQF Freezer then elevated to a weighing/bagging station. The bagged product was sealed then conveyed to the packing area.

Moduline/B-Line Project

One recent Moduline Conveyor Project was to manufacture, supply and oversee the installation of a Dixie Bin Handling System during an extensive plant upgrade. Our ability to provide 3D visualisations of the plant layout in the early stages enabled the client’s Engineering Team to optimise product flow and space requirements.

This level of automation enabled product to be conveyed throughout various parts of the production right through to dispatch, thus eliminating manual rack transportation and creating payback and adding value to their product.

The Moduline and Rollaveyor System conveyed both raw chicken and Dixie Bins through various parts of the plant.

Scope of Supply:
• 11 x Moduline Hygiene Series Conveyors totalling 108 metres in length
• 4 x Rollaveyor – Gravity Roller Conveyors – 13 metres long
• 4 x Dixie Locator/Pusher Stations – Pneumatic
• 2 x B-Line Hygiene Series Conveyors – 13 metres long

 Fish Finger Conveying System

The Fish Finger Carton Conveyor System was a very technical undertaking. Product flow of 90 cartons per minute at speeds of 50 m/min were demanding enough but splitting this flow into two lanes to create an accumulated product stream to serve two box sealers simultaneously and the need to handle various size and weight boxes with the flaps out also added to the scope.

Our solution was to build a Moduline Switch Conveyor running at 50/min to supply two separate conveyors with boxes to serve the sealers.

Once sealed the boxes were discharged over LiveTranz Conveyors onto a Moduline Return Conveyor with the boxes being placed in two lanes at 500 mm Centres at 30/min.

 Screwtech Equipment 

We have been the successful supplier on several Municipal Waste Water Plant upgrades.

The overall supply of this Inlet Works equipment was for two Band Screens which washed the screenings into Screwtech Launder providing flow splitting into two separate receiving stations on Kuhn Wash Presses. Screenings are washed and compressed through flumes into a transport Screwtech Shaftless Screw Conveyor. These are then either diverted to Standby Emergency Bins or conveyed to Screwtech SLB 10 Storage Bins for disposal. Screwtech Slidegates provide odour control and isolation along the conveyor.

 Automated Slice Loading System

Our client selected Concept Solutions to design and build an Automated Slice Loading System. This demanding project deposits twin lane slice cake into clear plastic trays at high speeds up to 50 m/min.

On the lower tier a Moduline indexing conveyor receives empty trays from a de-nester machine placing two trays at a time on to the belt narrow side leading. This conveys the trays perpendicular to another Moduline loading conveyor which is loaded via pneumatic pusher.

Simultaneously the upper tier conveyors receive, separate and transport the cut slice cake ready to be deposited into the empty trays. Both the upper and lower tier conveyors hunt each others’ positions and are controlled by sensors and servomotors. The loaded tray is transported through to packing on moduline and rollaveyor conveyors.

To complicate the project a bypass configuration was required for alternate products therefore the lower and discharge conveyors were required to relocate and complete the bypass setup. This was achieved by lifting an upper tier conveyor as the lower conveyors are retracted.
